Sunday Foodies
Nothing better then spending the day with my family at home doing a little cooking paired with lots of R&R. The boys will inevitably be lounging around on the couch while the girls and I get to experiment in the kitchen. I love these lazy days where nothing is in urgent need of being done. Watching Isaac and Scott high five each other while engrossed in whatever game may be on, and to see how grown up my girls are while they whisk together a fabulous coconut pecan chocolate cake is sheer bliss. The warm weather made for a perfect setting while we threw together our favorite Asian Chicken Salad, sliced cantaloupe and steamed Artichokes with garlic butter sauce. To complete our Spring festivity we finish it all off with a big piece of Taylor and Tallys chocolate cake and glass of milk. Mmmmm What could be better then this?
A little bit of mixing a little bit of tasting, all done in the comfort of their jammies
They started out happy to see me until I asked if they would take the garbage out??
Proof he was sampling the cake batter
Lunch is served
Best of all, Taylor and Tallys creation! BEST cake EVER. A job well done
